WHY we opened a Head Lice Removal Business
Our Story
We are 2 moms that worked together in a salon, one of us a stylist in the cosmetology world for 11 years and the other a receptionist. Day after day we saw the disappointment on so many kids faces when they were turned away due to having head lice or nits. TDLR rules and regulations for cosmetologist states a practitioner may not perform services on a client if the practitioner has a reason to believe the client has a contagious condition such as head lice, nits. Knowing this we got our heads together & did some research on opening a place families can go to get lice free without feeling embarrassed.
Talking to friends & family members in the community, everyone said it was a great idea. A few customers at the salon thought so as well, one even thought of the same idea just didn't have the means to do so.
So here we are to let the Victoria, Tx community know we are here to help with hands on removal of head lice & nits. We strive to give an educational experience on how to properly clean your home & let you know the myths & facts about head lice.
